How to use this free tool

  1. Start tuning

    Tap Start and allow microphone access. Play a sustained note into the mic (or hold the phone near the bell or sound hole).

  2. Read the cents

    The needle shows sharp (+) or flat (−). Zero is in tune. 100 cents = one semitone. Green means you’re close enough for ensemble work.

  3. Reference A

    Default is A440. Use + / − for ensemble pitch (A442) or historical A415 when your group needs it.
